Here is our promise to you
At Miilo, we are committed to taking concrete actions that support our values.
No words without actions.
- Organic and recycled materials
We source garments made from organic cotton and recycled materials, prioritizing environmentally responsible production methods that reduce waste, conserve natural resources, and support a more sustainable fashion industry.
- Proofs & certifications
Claims should always be backed by certifications, especially when it comes to products and production.
We ensure our garments are produced under legitimate certifications, including GRS certified by Control Union CU 819434 and GOTS, guaranteeing that all processes respect the environment, from raw material to finished product, and that labour conditions are fair and equitable. All sourced products are also certified under STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, attesting that textiles are tested and free of harmful substances.
Our packaging is sourced from FSC-certified suppliers and partners certified by 1% for the Planet and Sea The Difference.
Where several partners are available, we will always choose the ones who are most engaged, those who deliver real actions and hold proof of their quality, commitment, and values.
- Local sourcing and supply chain
We prioritise local supply and work to reduce transportation distances wherever possible.
We continuously aim to shorten our supply chain by eliminating unnecessary steps and intermediaries, building direct relationships instead.
Our goal is a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable supply chain while maintaining high standards of quality and ethical sourcing.
- Transparency
We advocate transparency at every stage of the production and encourage all our partners to do the same.
We believe traceability is essential to responsible sourcing, ethical manufacturing, and accountability throughout the supply chain. Our goal is to maintain clear visibility into the origin of our materials, the facilities involved in production, and the journey each product takes from raw materials to finished garments.
Strong partnerships with suppliers allow us to improve communication, ensure greater accountability, and make more informed decisions about the environmental and social impact of our products.
- Expertise & Savoir-faire
Our team is dedicated, passionate, and expert, always looking to grow.
We continuously seek opportunities to expand our knowledge, refine our techniques, and stay informed about the latest developments in our industry. Keeping up with emerging practices, technologies, and innovations allows us to improve our work and deliver the best possible products and experience to our clients.
- Quality
We ensure the quality of every design and garment at every step of the process, committing to regular verification throughout production.
No embroidered t-shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie leaves our studio before undergoing a thorough quality control process. During this inspection, we carefully verify the accuracy and placement of the design, the quality of the embroidery, the finishing and trimming, and the overall aesthetic appearance of the garment. We also inspect the inside of the embroidery to ensure a clean finish, and assess its softness and comfort against the skin.
In addition, we ensure that every embroidery is securely stitched on the garment and properly reinforced to withstand regular wear and washing. Our goal is to deliver clothes that look great, feel comfortable, and stay with you for years to come.
- Recycling and waste management
At every stage of production, we work to reduce waste and minimise our environmental footprint.
We design our embroidery to maximise material use and avoid unnecessary waste. Thread offcuts, backup layers, and production leftovers are collected, reused, and recycled. If a garment is damaged or does not meet our quality standards, it is redirected to another project, reworked into something new, or used for testing. Nothing is thrown away but enters the circular cycle.
Our packaging are designed to minimize the use of supply, and made of environmentally-friendly materials, that do not compromise on protection.
In the studio, everyday practices matter too. We avoid wasting water and energy, use low-energy equipment, limit paper printing, rely on reusable bottles, and recycle our waste responsibly.
- Ethical practices
People hold the most important place at Miilo.
We promote transparency, communication, growth, and balance, because we care about people, their needs, contributions, and wellbeing. We provide a safe, warm, and inspiring place to work in. We work at a pace that respects mental and physical health, and we are committed to building a workplace where people are at the core. We support personal and professional growth, practice fairness in wages and treatment, and foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and mutual support. We believe that when people feel valued, empowered, and heard, they are able to do their best work and contribute to a positive and sustainable business. That goes for our partners as well as our clients.
As Miilo grows, so will our responsibility toward the people who help build it; and we take that seriously.
